Regional Harrisburg Area Brewers (ReHAB)
The Regional Harrisburg Area Brewers (ReHAB) club formed when a few home brewers got together to exchange information and an appreciation for beer. There are no dues and membership is open to anyone with a love for home brewing. We have beer brewers, wine makers and mead makers in the club and they all contribute to the club in their own unique way.
The club meets regularly the first Saturday of the month from 3 - 5 pm at Scotzin Bros. That said, we are a social group and often move the meetings to special locations so watch the blackboard at Scotzin Bros. and get on the email list by using the contact information below. At the meetings, everyone is encouraged to bring homebrew for others to sample. If you have no homebrew to bring, you may feel free to bring your favorite commercial microbrew for "commercial calibration." If you have no homebrew to bring, a bag of chips will suffice for initiation. We occasionally put together a program to present at a meeting. Scotzin Bros.´ graciously allows us to meet at their shop so everyone helps clean up after the meetings.
The club has planned organized events in the past. These events included a trip to the State College Brew Expo, Troeg´s tour and Appalachian Brewing Company tour as well as summer picnics and brew demos. Also, club members often invite others to join in their brewing activities. We also have some informal friendly competitions.
